Who are we?
Our Mission
Most people would say that they want to improve, be better. Not just at something, but become a better someone. How do we do this? The short answer is that we compete. We become better someones by being better at something. This is the power of sport, and particularly, golf.
Of course, golf in particular is also a game that some people really get passionate about and want to improve. What more potent combination then, than to leverage the passion for golf with the fulfillment and satisfaction of also becoming a better person?
In some way this process of becoming better happens naturally as we practice something, but what if there were a way to unlock the full potential of the game of golf to really grow? This is the aim of the 2 Weeks 2 Peak program. In essence, the goal of the program is to become a better person by becoming a better golfer, or vice-versa, depending on how you see it. There is a very real symbiotic relationship between the two because the strengths or skills that make us better golfers also make us better people.
But how does this happen? The psychological aspects of the game – both mental and emotional – are at work every day in our real lives, and what holds us back in real life is also what holds us back in our games. Insecurities, vulnerabilities, reactivity instead of responsiveness, blaming, impatience, pessimism, anger, tunnel vision, even dishonesty – the list goes on. If you wait until you are on the range or playing golf to work on these then, assuming you play once a week, you are only practicing a little over 2% of the week. How often do we find ourselves making the same mental mistakes, only to realize it a minute or even a second too late? But if you can learn to practice in virtually every situation life throws at you, your percentage goes from practicing 2% of your week to almost 67%! Imagine how much quicker the psychological aspect of your game will improve. Better decisions, dramatically increased resilience, better attunement to yourself and your surroundings, and ultimately the ability the play the game with more enjoyment, more peace and a higher level of skill. You can do this in 2-week cycles so that you’re not just practicing aimlessly without a goal. 2 weeks to work your whole game, practicing mechanics, strategy, and the mental and emotional aspects of the game to play the best round of your life at the end of it and live your life as the best version of yourself.
